I am woking on getting a brand. My designer sent this to me lastnight tell me what you think, be honest I can handle it. I am not really sure need some help here. Let me know if you like it or not.
Thank you all for your input it means a lot to me I am going to get him started on another one. I know Steven thats why I wanted to put it up here frist so my friends could help me with it. Heather I'm like you the more I look at it the feeling is just not there. Bumatay thats funny RUF! Again thanks yall.
My opinion is coming in a little late. I am glad they are starting on a new one. Can't wait to see what they come up with. It may take a few tries but eventually you will have something awesome that fits you.
Yeah, that whole eye thing is kind of weird. What does a giant eye have to do with who you are or the image you want to portray? I could understand if it were a camera or something, but the eye just doesn't really convey who you are. It would be kind of neat if they could do some sort of logo that had a cool image of one of your photographs, kind of whitewashed (faded in the background) and then had your name bold over the image. That way when someone comes across your logo, they know exactly what kind of work you do and the faded image will cause that person to look closer and really take it in. As they are studying the image, your name stays in their mind because it is prominent over the image. Selecting the right logo is everything. It sets a presidence with the audience and gives them an impression of who you are and what you are about without ever meeting you or seeing your work. Notice how the other feedback talked about ruf, ruf, like a dog...and the colors and freehand drawn look of the eye convey almost a childlike image - not one of a skilled photographer that a bride would chose to capture the images on one of the most important days in her life. So make sure when you do decide on your logo, it is something that really speaks to you and speaks ABOUT you.
okay, I think I took one too many marketing classes. :)
Or, it would be neat if the logo were the image of a camera and in the lense (even a larger than normal lense for emphasis) was a whitewash image of one of your pictures, or even a picture of you. Then your name could be written on the camera or above the image of the camera. I like how you do your name now in all lower case letters. I think it really causes people to take notice because it's different - not written correctly by grammar standards because it's a name in all lower case.
It's hard to design logos, but give it a couple of tries and I think you'll find one you like.
